THE DESCENT & CORONATION

In 2023, my life did not just shift. It collapsed. This was my Dark Night of the Soul, an initiation I did not ask for, but one that was necessary to forge the woman I am today.

For nearly a decade, I existed in the shadow of someone else’s control. I spent nine years in a toxic engagement that gradually eroded my sense of self, leaving me small, disempowered, and silent. When I finally gathered the courage to sever that tie, the exit was not peaceful. It was a fight for my safety. I emerged, surprisingly physically unharmed, but carrying the heavy debris of PTSD and a shattered self-image in the aftermath.

In my desperate search for comfort, I stumbled into a karmic loop. I found myself in another relationship that mirrored the exact control and criticism I had just escaped. The lovebombing that initially drew me in quickly turned into  control and criticism. It wasn’t long before I was discarded and I hit rock bottom, questioning everything about myself and my worth.

It was in that silence that I realized the truth: I was stuck in a pattern, and no knight was coming to rescue me. I had to become my own savior.

I stopped looking for external validation and committed myself to the rigorous study of self-reclamation. I didn’t just want to just feel better, I wanted to understand the mechanics of my own soul so I can move forward with my life and travel to a time and space beyond the karmic loop I was stuck in.

I turned my pain into a discipline. Therapy gave me the clinical language for my trauma, but my spiritual studies gave me the cure. I immersed myself in the ancient and the esoteric, building an arsenal of tools to reclaim my sovereignty.
